The agreement

Sports Innovation has signed an agreement with Romanian club CSM Cetatea 1932 Suceava to deliver its fan engagement platform. Cetatea Suceava is Sports Innovation's first club in Romania and a concrete step in the company's expansion from the Nordics into the wider European market.

The club will get its own app built on Sports Innovation's platform, with access to every module. The app is set to launch around 1 December 2026.

A club with history and momentum

CSM Cetatea 1932 Suceava is the city club of Suceava in north-eastern Romania. Its roots go back to 1932, and today it is owned by the Municipality of Suceava. The current club was re-established in summer 2024 and has since won back-to-back promotions (Wikipedia).

The club now plays in Liga 2, Romania's second tier. Home matches are played at Stadionul Areni, which holds 12,500 spectators, and the county is working on plans for a new, modern stadium (Fanatik). The club colours are white and blue (cetateasuceava.com).

What the club and its fans get

A growing club needs to hold on to the fans it wins, and that is where the platform comes in. Cetatea Suceava gets a white-label club app in its own name and colours, run by the club itself, with the full suite of modules.

• For fans: news, fixtures, results and standings in one app, plus content and activities on matchdays.

• For the club: a direct channel to supporters beyond social media, with insight into who the fans are and what they engage with.

• For sponsors: new placements and campaigns that reach fans where they already are.

A first step into Eastern Europe
